Rimantas Plunge was born in Lithuania.
Studied fine arts, education and social sciences at Siauliai University. Defended PhD in 2010. His scientific interest is the relationship between
personality and the environment.
R. Plunge is working with different media as painting, photography, video and collage.
He has organized more than 20 personal exhibitions in several dozen group exhibitions in Lithuania, Croatia, UK, Denmark, Holland, Mexico, Italy,
Poland and other countries. Took part in art projects in Austria, UK and other countries.
Currently is assoc. professor at Vytautas Magnus University (Kaunas, Lithuania). He gives courses about audiovisual expression, contemporary media,
methodology of social research communication for art, IT, communication and cultural industries students. He is a visiting professor and gave lectures in
Austria, UK, Poland, Denmark, USA, Portugal, Spain, Latvia, Norway and other countries.
