FONDAZIONE BEVILACQUA LA MASA SELECTS TWO ARTISTS FOR THE NEXT CreArt RESIDENCE IN VENICE
The Curators Committee in Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa has selected the following artists for the CreArt residence in Palazzo Carminati between 14 September -and 19 October 2026:
- Maciej Jaszczyński (Lublin)
Maciej Jaszczyński is a theatre director and dramaturg, and a graduate of the Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw, Ravensbourne University London, and the College of Artes Liberales at the University of Warsaw. He made his professional directing debut at the Dramatic Theatre in Warsaw with Jubilee, based on Derek Jarman’s film. His productions include In the Solitude of Cotton Fields, presented at international festivals in Kraków, North Macedonia and Belgrade, and LUBLIXPOL. A Guide to the Lublin Techno Scene That No Longer Exists, Because It Never Existed at the Centre for Culture in Lublin. As a dramaturg, he co-created Men’s Talk, awarded the Grand Prix at the Istropolitana Festival in Bratislava, as well as Stairs, Stairs, Stairs, a graduation performance at the National Academy of Dramatic Art. His most recent production is Romeo and Juliet at the Stefan Jaracz Theatre in Olsztyn, created as part of the Young Yorick competition at the Gdańsk Shakespeare Festival.
- Barbora Dědičová (České Budějovice)
Barbora graduated at South Bohemian University - faculty of health and social care and she spent over ten years across diverse social services. She has strong passion for dance, gymnastics and music. She has realized that art and movement has a healing potential. In her work she brings together dance as universal body language, accesibility, participation, community engagement and meaningful relationships between people.
