ISA SANZ
An artist from Valladolid based in Ibiza since 2010, she completed her academic training in Spain and England. Her artistic expression encompasses photography, video art and performance art. Her work, conveyed in both exhibition and experiential formats, addresses themes such as menstruation, the representation of femininity, gender roles, impermanence and emotional expression in men. Isa Sanz presents herself as an artist who turns her life experience into a constant exploration through her work.
With an outstanding artistic curatorial facet, Isa has left her mark on the TAC Festival, being awarded in 2019 with the Estación Norte Prize ‘for her ability to select disturbing and beautiful proposals, capable of forging her own identity within the TAC’. In addition, since 2020, she has materialized her vision with her own project on the island of Ibiza: the international performance art festival Territori.
