Laura Dzerve works with Latvian traditions and their influence today, bringing them to life in contemporary textile art. She searches for the causes of the misery of Latvians and other European countries, working with problems that she faces in her daily life, family, and surroundings, such as demographics and alcoholism, which deeply affect Latvian culture and economy.

Each work of art has a deep conceptual message and a professional technical execution that includes many different author's techniques.
