The curators Committee in CreArt Oulu (Finland) has selected the French artist Tristan Alexandre (2000, Clermont-Ferrand)  for the AiR Children as Artists at the Children's Museum at Tiima, Oulu, Finland.

CONGRATULATIONS!

Tristan Alexandre is an artist born in Clermont-Ferrand. His practice lies at the crossroads of art and science, informed by his work as an engineer, where he helps reduce the environmental footprint of the Paris metro infrastructure. Through drawing, painting and collage, he creates sensitive cartographies of cities and their networks. Inspired by the "new narratives" movement, he has developed the notion of poéticoconception: by analogy with eco-design, it focuses on the symbolic and cultural footprint of the ways we inhabit the world. His projects are often collaborative and rooted in specific territories, such as Les Mondes Mobiles in Clermont-Ferrand, with more than 600 participants, the participatory mural in Lagny-sur-Marne, created with more than 250 children, or his research on space infrastructure with the Observatoire de l'Espace of CNES, the French space agency.
