The Jury Committe from City of Regensburg and RAiR. Regensburg Arts-in-Residence have selected the following artists for their program in 2026
- IRENA FRANTAL (HR) / Period residence: 19.01.2026 till the 15.02.2026
- MANUELA PAUK (HR) / Period residence: 13.04.2026 till 07.05.2026. Pending confirmation
Irena Frantal is an independent visual artist educated in Zagreb (BA in Graphic Arts, 2004) and London (MA in Book Arts, UAL, 2010) (additional education: drawing workshop at the Summer University of the Arts in Berlin, 2022).
She regularly exhibits her work (with nine solo exhibitions in Zagreb) and collaborates with various artists on artist book projects. She has been involved in education in the field of book arts, participated in an international art project in Sweden, and attended several artist residencies in the USA, Lithuania, Austria, Sweden, and Germany.
Her artist books are included in various institutional and private collections across Europe, including the Collection of Works on Paper at the Museum of Applied Arts in Vienna (MAK).
