Liverpool selects the duo LIZPONIO X FKIT! from Rouen for the Chinese New Year Mural Project
Liverpool City Council has selected the project by the duo LIZPONIO X FKIT! from Rouen and will be working in collaboration with Liverpool Organisations Writing on the Wall and Pagoda Arts to design and create/install a site specific mural within the Chinatown area of Liverpool at Great George Square in February 2021.
Lizponio and FkIt! are two French artists from Rouen:They began to paste up their work in the public space in spring ‘18. Since then, they have pasted up artworks in various
cities in Normandy, but also abroad: in cities such as Prague, Lisboa, Bruxelles, Berlin, but also in the UK, especially in Brighton. They met through an art collective in Rouen:
Lizponio comes from a Fine arts education as she studied in the Rouen School of Arts ; while FktIt! grew up with the Hip Hop culture which led him at a young age to the graffiti world.
