What would happen if? The choice to build an alternative future is a multidisciplinary project that encourages participating artists and collectives to explore the historical, contemporary, and social facts that build contemporary realities in their places of residence. depicting possible alternative futures, natural phenomena and individual-collective memories. History is written through moments of break with the past that result in changes in our lifestyles. However, instead of being a critical revision of history, the exhibition aims to formulate new histories.

The exhibition was conceived before the Covid-19 pandemic crisis. Quote from Franco "Bifo" Berardi: "The current crisis is not a real crisis. That is RESET. It's about turning off the machine and turning it on again after a while. However, when we turn it on again, we may decide to work as before, risking being in the same nightmare again - or we may decide to reprogram it, according to science. consciously and sensitively. ”The word crisis comes from the ancient Greek verb krino which means to recognize, to judge, to evaluate. It is still necessary to think of resetting as something dramatic - resetting is a shock and it affects the most disadvantaged part of society. However, we need to evaluate the positive side of each crisis and look at whether it can change in front of our eyes and our reality. Today, thinking about all possible if it becomes even more essential to understand what is wrong, for how long this frightening situation will continue and what will follow.
