SELECTION CreArt ARTIST FOR THE AiR PROGRAM SKATEHOLDERS HOSTED BY ČESKÉ BUDĚJOVICE (CZ)
Curators Committee from BUDEJOVICE 2028 has selected CreArt artist MORENO ELIA HEBLING (Venice, 1995) for the Residence program within the Framework of SKATEHOLDERS FESTIVAL, between 1. 6. - 5. 7 2026 .

Moreno Elia Hebling was born in Venice in 1995. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree at Accademia di belle Arti ( Viterbo) and his Master’s degree at IUAV (Venice). Together with a group of peers, Hebling co-founded the participatory and relational art collective “Operazioni Artistiche Kairos,” within which he/she curates and leads writing-based workshops. Since 2021, Hebling has served as President of the Associazione Schizogeografica di Mappatura Alternativa (ASMA), an organization dedicated to collective psychogeographic practices and alternative forms of mapping. Hebling has been involved in numerous projects both in Italy and internationally.
Moreno Elia Hebling’s research was firstly dedicated to conceptual photography. While keeping his interest in contemporary aesthetics at the core of his practice, he focused on mapping the connections between post–World War II avant-gardes and the internet, paying particular attention to underground, Situationist-inspired movements active throughout the 1980s and 1990s.
