The main event of the festival was the creation of a mural by Łukasz Majerowski, based on a concept by brothers Vitali and Serhii Hrekh. The project symbolically combined the ideas of European cooperation and the Re:Union slogan, present in Lublin's application for ECoC 2029. Accompanying activities by local and Ukrainian artists also included site-specific installations, paintings, mosaics, floral arrangements, and performances that engaged with the industrial fabric of the former Lublin Tobacco Factory.

The core of the project was to create a dialogue between the history of the site and contemporary artistic practices. Six artists were invited to participate: Łukasz Majerowski, Natalia Bak, Paulina Garbiec, and Izabela Popko from Lublin, and Vitalii and Serhii Hrekh from Ukraine. The presence of Ukrainian artists, who were working remotely due to the ongoing war, gave the event a unique dimension of cross-border cooperation and solidarity.

We would like to thank all participants and artists for their commitment and passion.
