Nadiia Sobko (1994, Ukraine)
As an independent Ukrainian conceptual artist, I am drawn to the residency in Clermont-Ferrand because of its
unique potential to foster connections — between bodies, landscapes, and emotional geographies. Coming from a
country at war, I carry within me the tension between collapse and care, destruction and endurance. This fragile
duality often guides my practice, which uses sculpture, sound, and performative installation to speak about rupture,
memory, and slow transformation.
Grégoire Delanos (1995, Laon)
Grégoire Delanos is a visual photographer born in France in 1995. He obtained his
scientific baccalaureate with a cinema-audiovisual option in 2013. He pursued studies
in architecture at ENSA in Clermont- Ferrand (FR) and then graduated with a higher technician
certificate in photography from ETPA in Toulouse (FR) in 2018. He lives and works in Clermont-
Ferrand (FR) where he also founded La Hutte studio in 2022.
He works on the intimate relationships between humans, living beings, and inhabited
territories, exploring the performativity of the photographic image. He subverts
classical photographic processes by integrating living elements into technical procedures,
incorporating ancient and low-toxicity photographic techniques, or by exploring the perishability of
artworks, the relationship with time, the visible and invisible.
