1st CONTEST #CreArtMailArt / Open to CreArt artists
From Valladolid as a CreArt city and UNESCO Creative City we want you to join in the celebration of the 9th edition of #EUDayCreativity
Creative spring blooms in the city from March 21!
We want to pause in this long period of hibernation in which we find ourselves. Go back to enjoy and share creativity. And for this, we invite you to participate in the #CreArtMailArt contest, by sending us your own postcard design. The best creation will be awarded!
Mail Art, is a planetary movement of exchange and communication through postal distribution. These postal items can be messages, collages, objects, slogans, poems, fanzines ... that are addressed to a wide audience, often unknown to the author, who thereby intends to get out of the traditional ways of distributing art.
PARTICIPANTS
CreArt Artists from all the cities of the network, who have participated in the project since 2012
REQUIREMENTS
Support: 250 - 300 gr paper and size 10 x 15 cm
The theme and the technique are free (write, draw, paste, cut, sew, print, make collage, engrave, paint, photograph)
On the back, the full name, title of work, technique, and email must be included in capital letters.
Each participant can send a work
DEADLINE AND ADDRESS
Postcards must be sent by post (if it is not postmarked, it is not valid), before March 12 at:

We will confirm receipt by email.
AWARDS, FINAL EXHIBITION AND DIGITAL PUBLICATION
The organization of CreArt will award the best creation with a prize of € 250
All the postcards received will be exhibited in a municipal space during the edition of Creava 21 (March 19 - April 11)
A digital publication will be made with the postcards selected by the organization
