European Day of Artistic Creativity // Activities 2014

Memory is a term that the visual arts, in recent decades, have turned into aesthetic category producing projects and artworks in public and private spaces. These projects and artworks investigated different themes such as identity, tradition, history, monument, our roots in order to search for a meaning of our
contemporary life. The workshop offers a path of knowledge focused on these themes and will investigate the Genoese urban spaces and their inhabitants through the personal ex
periences of the participants.

Build the house of your dreams - or anything else you dream about - with ecologic plasticine :) First-grade pupils of Rytas primary school are invited to explore their creativity and possibilities of the new locally produced toy

The creative workshop will welcome more than 70 first-grade pupils in their own school, where they will have time to enjoy the creative possibilities that the new ecological toy - so unique that it's difficult to name it - gives.

In the main square of the city of Genoa in Piazza De Ferrari there will be organized "PREVIEW INTRECCI URBAN". Anyone can join and become a participant of the project. We will gather in the central square to knit together and create the artworks from the wool.

On 21th of March at the County Council, will be organized an exhibition with over 160 works made by preschoolers, schoolchildren, young people.

The organizers wish to emphasize the experience, creativity and imagination of the participants in order to promote the project CRE-ART and creativity.

All schoolchildren who like photography are invited to participate in the competition. This year, pupils from Kelmė and Anykščiai will join the young photographers of Kaunas.

After the first successful competition in 2013, the new topic was announced as early as November 2013. Two more cities - Kelmė and Anykščiai - join the festivities of European Creativity Day in Lithuania. The young people will have their photos shown in one of the best exhibition halls of Kaunas, as well as in exhibition spaces of Kelmė and Anykščiai. Later, the photos will travel to the schools of the participants. Authors of the most interesting shots will receive prizes among which - tickets to the youth photography summer camp in Kaunas.

Bajo el lema: ARTES Y MUCHO MÁS, el I.E.S. Delicias a través de su GaBe Espacio Creativo quiere hacer público su compromiso con uno de los pilares en los que se fundamenta el desarrollo del hombre que, según nuestro proyecto educativo, contribuimos a formar: la creatividad.

Queremos que tome cuerpo de forma estructurada y sistemática la capacidad de enriquecimiento de nuestra personalidad y nuestro entorno a través de las Bellas Artes, las artes del sonido y las del movimiento por lo que nos sumamos al día europeo de la creatividad con una programación didáctica y cultural que se concretará en las siguientes actuaciones (ver documento adjunto)

"Contemplative state nº 2" es una escultura, hecha a través de la manipulación del papel, que nos recuerda al movimiento terrestre, las fallas sísmicas, los cráteres de meteoritos o las fuerzas del espacio exterior. Este trabajo se presenta como una muestra de un lugar desconocido con el fin de sugerir la evolución de lo que podemos llamar un territorio, transportándonos a un tiempo inusual y potencialmente virtual.

Mediante la proyeccion de powerpoint se irá explicando el proceso de creación de una escultura en madera policromada , desde el boceto en dibujo, la maqueta en barro, el vaciado en escayola para realizar la maqueta a escala 1/1, la preparación y selección del material definitivo( la madera), la realización de la escultura en madera, y todo el proceso de policromía, mediante la pintura al oleo y el temple al huevo pasando por la aplicación de oro.
