By the occasion of the European Day of Artistic Creation, as an activity of the CreArt project, Harghita County Council by leadership of Mezey Ildiko artist, teacher, is going to organize a workshop for the students with the subject: The Art of XXI. Century: portrait. The workshop will take place at the Nagy Istvan Arts School on 21 March 2013 from 12-14 o’clock. Preselected artists from Harghita County are invited to participate in the workshop.

The project interprete the archive as a curatorial practise and its aim is to promote the regional creativity with the creation of a quality repertory dedicated to the Basilicata’s artists. The repertory is a online platform as archive where people can look up information and documentation about the excellence creativity of Basilicata (Italy).

The project, coordinated by Lucia Ghidoni of the think tank SoutHeritage interprete the archive as a curatorial practise and its aim is to promote the regional creativity with the creation of a quality repertory dedicated to the Basilicata’s artists. The repertory is a online platform as archive where people can look up information and documentation about the excellence creativity of Basilicata. The main purpose is to promote the contemporary art and moreover INDEX is a project created to reflect about the meaning of working for contemporary art in a peripheral territory like Basilicata. Therefore it closes the gap between local and global cultures, from tradition to innovation, memory and contemporary. The project is an instrument of research for the public who wants to expand the contemporary art in Basilicata. It supports the professional grow of the artists and leads the public to a new approach to the contemporary art. INDEX is a project settled like a “cabinet” which will create a place for discussion where ideas and reflections take form through annual meeting. The project wants to promote Basilicata’s artists through the annual invitation of a guest curator (he/she will be chose among the national young critics and art curators ) who will select five artists, after “studio visits” and research on the territory. The repertory is a set of dossier which includes images, biographical notes and texts. There isn’t a generation’s criteria but the selection process values the maturity and activity of the artists. INDEX is like a curatorial processing concept, it gathers some detailed interview about the research process of every single artist and it focuses on the experience of art rather than the artwork itself. Students in fifth grade make a movie about school's students with different colored glasses made by themselves

For several weeks we have made glasses of different colours and shapes. Crystals have different colours, too. We want everyone in our school to put these glasses and to tell us how you feel and see the world as. We'll film treir insights and comments; we'll take photos to each, too. Finally, we'll make a movie about the experience

La Fundación Casa de la India participa en el Día Europeo de la Creatividad Artística con “El muro de las creaciones”

Con motivo del Día Europeo de la Creatividad Artística, la Casa de la India invita a todos los ciudadanos a participar en “el muro de las creaciones”. Instalado en el salón de actos de la Casa de la India y en relación con la exposición organizada por la Casa de la India “Sueños de India” que se exhibe del 14 al 26 de marzo en la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, el muro de las creaciones quiere estimular y promover la creatividad de los ciudadanos a través de la recreación de sus sueños. Los paneles que forman “el muro de las creaciones” serán una gran hoja en blanco donde se pegarán hojas y carteles que a través de diferentes manifestaciones artísticas llenarán de sueños la exposición.
