El concurso tiene como finalidad la recreación de un baniano (árbol típico de Bengala, India), que simboliza el nexo de la naturaleza con el ser humano y la educación, ya que se ambienta en la escuela de Tagore, donde se forma a los alumnos al aire libre en los valores de la bondad, la verdad y el amor por la paz.

La convocatoria se dirige estudiantes y artistas emergentes, de hasta 25 años, residentes o matriculados como estudiantes en un centro educativo público o privado (escuela, instituto, universidad) de Valladolid. Los jóvenes artistas tienen hasta el 15 de marzo de 2021 para presentar sus propuestas. El 21 de marzo, tras el fallo de un jurado especializado, la Casa de la india dará a conocer el ganador de la convocatoria. El periodo de implantación y montaje en la Casa de la India tendrá como día límite el 30 de abril de 2021.

DIEGO GARRIDO / EXPERIMENTACIÓN CON LAS DANZAS URBANAS

Diego nos realizará un workshop intensivo, a partir de su investigación sobre la movilidad del cuerpo con la fusión de danzas urbanas y contemporáneo, donde conectaremos con diferentes calidades y pautas a la hora de bailar o moverse, comenzando con pequeños calentamientos y después pasando a ejercicios basados en la improvisación pero con diferentes pautas: disociaciones, cambios de energía, ondulaciones en el cuerpo, movimiento a través de sensaciones, trabajo de suelo, etc. Con esto lo que busca es que cada uno investigue libremente con su cuerpo, mente y movimiento, en las danzas urbanas u otra disciplina de movimiento.

El taller se desarrollará 22, 23 y 24 de marzo en Andén 47.

LUCÍA MORATE / CUERPO Y CIUDAD

Lucía nos propone el taller Cuerpo y Ciudad, para promover un espacio de reflexión e investigación colectiva a partir de la fotografía, el análisis visual y el juego corporal. Realizaremos un estudio sobre lo que entendemos por el cuerpo, cómo nos relacionamos con él, con otros cuerpos y cómo se vincula y relaciona con la ciudad. El trabajo final se reunirá en un ensayo fotográfico grupal. Una maqueta en papel que aglutinará las fotografías, las reflexiones de les participantes. El cuerpo es el espacio desde nos relacionamos con los demás y con el entorno. El cuerpo es algo más que tejidos, órganos y piel. Es un contenedor de experiencias, un espacio interno que separa lo de dentro con lo de fuera. El cuerpo nos sirve para hablar de espacio público, espacio privado, frontera, medida...El cuerpo puede ser social, político, biológico… El cuerpo podría ser la primera medida de todas las cosas.

El taller de desarrollará los días 3 y 4 de abril en Espacio Joven Sur.

GONZALO DE MIGUEL / PINTURA DE LA INMUNDICIA

Gonzalo coordina el taller Pintura de la inmundicia. Así llamaba Kurt Schwitters a sus obra-collage. Compuesto de material de deshecho y material descartable. Empezaremos el taller visionando un documental de diversos artistas que trabajan a través del collage en sus diferentes ramificaciones. Trabajaremos sobre el collage intervenido, acercándonos más a la pintura y el grafismo junto con la fotografía para tratar un lenguaje más plástico. Valoraremos las partes técnicas aprovechando el material que vayamos encontrando, cartones, papel, telas,... quizás objetos y sobre todo aprovechar el uso y la versatilidad de cada uno de ellos.

Los ejercicios serán, ACCIONES, un gestó único y definitivo, es decir, trabajar el impulso y la espontaneidad. Ejercicios inmediatos en los que la primera idea será el propósito principal. Abordaremos varias temáticas a través de ideas o conceptos en el transcurso del taller y se construirá en base a lo trabajado, una revista final con los ejercicios que seleccionaremos al terminar el Taller.(Extraoficialmente como recuerdo.)

El taller se desarrollará 6, 7 y 8 de abril en Espacio Joven Sur.

Celebrating the EU Art Creativity Day - March 21, 2021 - consists of 4 different activities:

1 / The project PORTALI 2021- is a continuation of the first exhibition organized in 2018, within the project CreArt, which presented works by artists from the youngest generation of Macedonian authors. Setting up GOALS.

 2018-2021 aims to present a constellation of young artists who transmit their creative energy through various artistic media through all 4 years of work within the project.

PORTALI 2021 is an entry into the diversity of the art world, through a selection of recent works by young artists-illustrators, who act locally and globally with their work in secondary illustration (comic illustration, illustrations for video games, illustrations for children, literature, etc.).

 It is related ideologically in the presentation of their views which are inspired by different segments of everyday life and critically focused on the problems created by the speed of overall development, changes in the environment and communications. As a kind of open portal-metaphor of the city of Skopje, a city that is a symbol of history built on trial and error, perseverance and struggle for survival. Through forms of presentation of selected information placed through the media that mislead us and redirect us to various discourses on existence and development. Conveying dictated views with intrusive content without taking into account the reaction they produce - opening new dimensions in the visual conceptualist approach and stating various reasons for current events by changing statements and distorting already filtered media. Suggestive desire for new beginnings through changes that should change the trajectory of movements and open new and new portals with fresh ideas.

The European Days of Artistic Creativity 2021 is an interdisciplinary event addressed to Lublin city dwellers. The aim of the project is to build a space for creative expression.

This year’s edition combines various areas of creativity and elements of a social campaign. Ahead of us are dance and sound events, a performance combined with mail art action, a DJ concert and an exhibition in a virtual space.

The European Days of Artistic Creativity are organised by the Culture Department of the City of Lublin as part of the “CreArt. Network of Cities for Artistic Creation” with financial support from the European Commission under the “Creative Europe” programme. 

Galeria Labirynt is the content partner of the project.

Gently Running Through is a unique sound and dance event that is going to take place in the space of a contemporary art gallery. Electronic sounds are going to be mixed with contemporary and vogue dance. For the first time in history, Bożna Wydrowska, Filip Kijowski and toutestmagnifique are going to join their forces to create a merger that crosses the boundaries of disciplines. Different styles, sounds, movements and emotions are going to give the event an unpredictable expression of cooperation between people who have met just recently.

The audiovisual performance is going to take place at Galeria Labirynt and it is going to be broadcast live on social media.

A DJ set realised as a live broadcast on social media. Densienie is a friendly DJ project by toutestmagnifique and Proxytm, authors of a monthly program on Radio Kapitał, co-authors of which are invited audio and/or visual artists. As part of the programme, the authors play and compose electronic music, explore various sound areas, and, under favorable circumstances, also organise their own series of events called densienie. The birthplace of the collective is Galeria Labirynt, where the first event in the series took place in May 2019. Graphic designers, Ania Jeglorz and Zuza Kruk, are responsible for the visual design of the event.

The set is going to be broadcast live on the social media of Galeria Labirynt.

“Pink Satin” is a mail art action and performative activities that are going to take place in the streets of Lublin. You are going to be able to meet the artists at the Lublin Bus Station, the Old Town, in the Saski Garden, in Galeria Labirynt and at the Juliusz Słowacki housing complex as well as in the Za Cukrownią neighbourhood. The duo’s identification sign is going to be chameleon costumes.

Thai Flowers, i.e. Barbara Gryka and Filip Kijowski, are going to be traveling round the city to collect positive emotions from people they meet. During the action, you are going to be able to talk to the artists and paint or write down your feelings on a large piece of fabric. Its surface is going to be filled up more and more throughout the performance.

On the basis of the collected materials, Thai Flowers are going to create postcards full of good words and pictures, which are going to be given to residents of Mother Teresa of Calcutta Lublin Nursing Home. Due to the pandemic, these people were completely cut off from the outside world. By reaching them through the mail art, the Thai Flowers duo is going to show that we support them with good words in this difficult situation.

We invite everyone, regardless of age, to participate in the action.

Virtual exhibition presented in VRChat, an internet social platform for creating virtual worlds. The exhibition gives the opportunity to move to the digital exhibition hall of Galeria Labirynt in Lublin via digital avatars. Therefore, it is going to be possible to view the exhibition with several people without leaving home. Visiting the exhibition in this way resembles a computer game and gives the possibility of interaction between people met in the digital space.

The action is a continuation of last year’s exhibition “A Bear’s Dream”. In this year’s edition of the project, the exhibition is going to present in particular spatial works.

Access to the VRChat platform is possible for all people with computers with the Microsoft Windows system.

S A B O T A G E is a live-streamed 15-minute performance that splices fragments of video and audio taken from international news channels with artist-generated content, forming a constantly changing moving-image collage.

S A B O T A G E is performed, blending visuals and sound, and broadcasted as a live-stream, enabling anyone to view the work in real-time on their computer or phone. The performance engages arts audiences placed within the spectacle of a news culture that reflects and amplifies the chaos of contemporary politics and events. The audio element mixes sound from the various newsreaders and reports to create a dissonant soundtrack that reflects the chaotic nature of the video. During the performance, a live musical soundtrack is performed in response to the live news coverage. S A B O T A G E highlights how we like all consumers of news, via TV and internet platforms, can be subconsciously manipulated. Their research is mostly focused on investigating the influences of the media and its agenda, which may be controlled by the government and the state. La temática es libre y la técnica también (escribe, dibuja, pega, corta, cose, rasga, imprime, haz collage, grabado, pinta, fotografía… o aquello que tu imaginación te impulse a crear…

En el reverso se deberán incluir en mayúscula nombre completo, título obra, técnica, y correo electrónico.
