Los círculos repetitivos de las formas y paleta monocromática, que artista de textil lituano Virginia Kirveliene (Kaunas) presenta en su exposición individual “Puntos de Orígen”, en la Sala de las exposiciones del RTVE Canal Sur Andalucía en la Sede de Jaén, se puede clasificar como el minimalismo geométrico y conceptual. La exposición estará abierta desde 05. 03 - 05. 04. 2016.

El ciclo de las exposiciones dentro del proyecto “Interpretaciones TEXTiles”, tiene su comienzo en año 2014 y como objetivo la conceptualización del textil como rama de arte y la herramienta de análisis de los procesos significativos tanto visual como textual. Para comprender la temática se abordarán las diferentes áreas de arte- textil y pintura. Las diferencias en las metodologías y diferentes puntos de vista artísticas, facilitan el estudio de textil no sólo como arte decorativo, pero como arte conceptual con la profundidad de sus contextos. Las autores del proyecto exploran la relación entre texto, la imagen, el tiempo y el espacio. Migran entre el pasado y el presente, interactúan creando estructuras metafóricas. Las artistas presentan los diferentes estilos y técnicas en función de las distintas obras, combinando métodos tradicionales e innovadores que reflejan las respectivas individualidades y tendencias textiles que prevalecen en el mundo. El formato de la exposición es diverso, interdisciplinario. En el año 2016, para definir y ampliar la capacidad de los conceptos de las exposiciones, como vehículo de la expresión y manifestación del contexto social, vamos analizar las obras artísticas a partir del punto de vista filosófico: integrar la filosofía, crear un mensaje claro, unir los textos del sabio lituano, filósofo del Siglo XX, Vydūnas. Es decir, vamos unir arte, literatura y filosofía. Durante la exposición será organizada una serie de encuentros y los talleres presentados en un formato práctico y de trabajo colaborativo. En tres sesiones presenciales con las artistas serán realizadas las obras, después mostradas en una presentación pública.

ANIMATION Stop-motion animation is one of the simplest, most fun animation techniques. Mix equal parts digital camera, computer, and imagination (you’ve got all three), and you’re on your way. The stop-motion animation helps to fulfill children’s imaginations, and to give them an opportunity to be animation heroes. Children will have possibility to create their own first animation film and to explore it’s technique. STAINED GLASS MOSAIC Stained glass workshop is the best way to learn how to work with glass and all the tools we use to create art glass. This year, using glass and mosaic techniques children will create the bird. During this process, children will learn how to compose the colors, forms and different texture of the glass. STAINED GLASS MAP OF FEELINGS During workshop children will get acquainted with the art of glass and the glass material and its properties. Paint on glass plates using graphite and glazes. Children will explore their personal ornament reflecting the feelings of each. They will make their layers to create the map of feelings. Then works will be glued together, prepared for melting. The next day, we will see how different layers of glass melted and become one whole. RECYCLE ART Workshop consist of two parts - theoretical and practical. The first part is for introducing a further object of art and the relationship - a little history of how everyday objects become part of the artwork - collage, ready-made, then trash art, eco art. Finally, moving to do it yourself - DIY ideas, waste sorting and show that anyone can be engaged in creative work starting their environment and everyday objects to the processing of applying a new and environmentally-friendly way. During the practical part children will make the table of cardboard, which can withstand the weight of laptop and is produced flexing some form. BOOKBINDING WORKSHOP Bookbinding is a little-known art form, but it has more than one century history and tradition, which to this day is protected and promoted in many European countries. Consequently, the proposed activities are a great opportunity to meet and try this unique art form, which combines many other art forms, such as textiles, leather, wood, jewelry, graphics ... It's a lot of time and diligence requiring expensive type of art. This process, which aims to expand the student's knowledge of the bound book application possibilities in their immediate environment, briefly tell us about this kind of art history and show the currently prevalent means of expression in the world. CERAMICS WORKSHOP Ceramic workshop develop child's imagination, creativity, spatial awareness, thoroughness. It acquaints with properties of clay, decoration, rope molding technique. Children will produce pencils holder, which will be molded in rope way, with natural motifs what reveals the child's individuality. At the end of the sessions each original pencil holder will be kilned in the ceramics oven. GRAPHICS AND CALLIGRAPHY WORKSHOP “Wand – brush”. Creative calligraphy and drawing ink sessions (recommended at least twice, starting with calligraphy in the first workshop, the transition to a pattern in the second) taught how to freely operate, and in particular - to feel the brush casting mascara so that the lines and spots to be transformed into the desired and recognizable or just abstract , emotions that reflect the creative images, eg., the so-called "samurai sword accents (Japanese calligraphy) by petal orchids, bamboo leaf, fish fin or the pupils themselves invented fantastical objects and their parts. This drawing and hand gestures of freedom, as well as concentration, focus on capacity to develop child’s creative practice. At the end of the sessions each child will be able to create a distinctive Zen postcard.
